Globe to Globe Ambassadors

From April to June 2012, Shakespeare’s Globe is bringing theatre companies from all around the world to perform all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays, in 37 different languages, as part of their unique Globe to Globe festival. And they need your help.

Globe to Globe are looking for people who speak one of these languages… Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, Armenian, Bangla, Belarusian, British Sign Language, Cantonese, Dari, French, Georgian, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, IsiZulu, IsiXhosa, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Mandarin, Maori, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Shona, Serbian, SeSotho, Setswana , Spanish (Argentine, Castilian and Mexican), Swahili, Turkish, Urdu and Yoruba.

 

They are recruiting volunteers to help spread the word about this event so if you want to help others see your language performed on the Globe stage, and be part of this once-in-a-lifetime celebration for the London 2012 festival, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
