Memories of a Moleskine (or seven)

Written by  Lizzie Fane Thursday, 18 March 2010
Leaning tower of moleskine by Lost in ScotlandYou wouldn't have seen me without a Moleskine during my year abroad. I kept EVERYTHING in it; notes about my favourite places in Florence (so I could lend it to mum when she visited), ticket stubs, flyers and a map in the pocket in case I got lost, sketches, emergency phone numbers, opening times, Euro conversion rates (and ideas for this website too!) And guess what? NOW they've brought out the City Guide: the world's first guidebook you can write yourself. I wish I'd had that. With its tabbed sections, maps and street index, it would have been a lot quicker than customising the original Moleskine!
It is because of this that I am thrilled to be able to offer our users an exclusive 20% discount off everything in the collection. A Moleskine is the best possible souvenir of your year abroad and a ready-made, updatable guide for your return visits!  Do send in your Moleskine photos and we'll publish them on ThirdYearAbroad.com!

In the meantime, here is some inspiration for you...
