At the University of Aberdeen, you can take a year abroad if you are studying from a range of disciplines. Although most commonly associated with Modern Language students, students of Law and other departments can also speak to their course supervisor to check whether they can take a year abroad. There are 3 programmes:

1) International Exchange Programme
2) The Erasmus Programme, particularly aimed at students not studying Modern Languages
3) Studying Abroad as part of your Modern Languages degree (e.g. French)
