Hi everyone! I've been living in Paris since April and was hoping to apply for CAF, but there was a looong delay in the opening of my bank account, so now I'm not sure if it's still possible.

I've read in a number of places that the rules changed from January 2011, meaning that payments could no longer be backdated, and you therefore have to apply immediately. Has anyone had experience of applying slightly later?
