My top ten Spanish idioms

So using the Collins Easy Learning Spanish Idioms eBook on Kindle for iPhone (also available in paperback) made it really easy to read a little on the metro as I hopped about Barcelona. Using idioms during lessons as a Language Assistant
Wednesday, 11 April 2012Idioms, are perhaps the most complex part of any language learning experience as they are culturally relevant and usually seem to make no logical sense whatsoever to those as outsiders. Competent understanding and usage of idioms in a foreign language truly shows you that you are well on your way to mastering the language, and are pretty confident already. I am spending my year abroad as an English language assistant in Spain and so chose to use the English Idioms book in a few of my lessons to see how it can be used and if in fact using it was a benefit to my lessons. Studying three languages at university

I am currently studying at Bangor University, doing a joint honours degree in French and German with Spanish. Surprisingly the ability to study three languages at degree level is in fact extremely rare, in spite of a growing increase in companies and jobs which list the ability to speak at least one language as one of their requirements.Published in Sixth Form -
