My God, time goes by way too quickly for me. I can’t believe it has been coming up to 2 months of me being here now. Things that were stressing me out in the beginning have definitely improved, such as having adapted to the working hours of a full time job and now being able to stay out late without having to pay for it immediately upon waking up the next day.
Week three in Karlsuhe coming up. The last week has been spent finding new hobbies & trying new things, (often with little success), but hey, I'm having fun, speaking German & meeting new people...Long-term accommodation, despite the struggle, is now sorted & I'm well on the way to finding my feet & feeling settled, though the odd skype with friends & family back in England always helps to keep any 'I miss England' moments at bay.
Hello from Deutschland! I actually can’t believe I’m here and have 5 minutes free to write this post. I’ve been so busy ever since I left Stafford a week ago and, to be honest, I haven’t looked back! I’ve had so much to keep my mind off of missing home that up 'til now, I hadn’t really thought much about it. I’ll run through some of the things I’ve been through so far, including a fair few things I didn’t actually know about until I got here.
