Welcome to your year abroad, first stop: panic!

With September creeping up on us, many of you guys are going to be on the brink of setting off for their year abroad! How exciting! Though slightly scary, let’s be honest - new place, new friends, new(ish) language - summer seems like it’s just flown by. But whatever you do, don’t worry - worrying never really helped anybody, plus there’s loads of information out there...

...you just need to know where to look for it! You might still be looking for flights, sorting out your final dealings with insurers or even just trying to sort out your packing...Over the past few months, TYA’s researchers and fantastic writers have been getting the latest information sourced, to make those first steps a bit easier, minus all the angsty bits...From articles on what to pack, where you should think of staying, what are the ins and outs of the year abroad, how to Skype like a pro, it's (hopefully) all here!

Though we’re not perfect - we are real people and we do listen: so, in short, if there’s something you don’t think is quite right, if you think we’re missing a trick (or two), or you just want to voice your views in our forum, it’s really easy - you just have to sign up and you can take it from there! And the best bit is, it’s all free. And it’s all students. Yep. And we might even have an upcoming discount or two...Stay tuned (that might be a hint...)!
